Production blog: Filming scenes on my own


 My group decided what sevens everyone will film. Since the distance between me and the other is too big for me to meet up I am filming mines on my own. I will film scenes 6 7 8 and 9. I have only began to film scene 6. I got my mom to help me film this scene since I needed an over the shoulder shot. The viewers needed to see me searching up other people so they can understand what I’m trying to communicate without having to say it. I made myself look distressed and sad and I used a neutral lighting. In the scenes I film in plan to make the lighting darker and darker overtime to show the weight the thoughts had on the person I am playing. My character in the scene is comparing herself to other celebrities that have the money and resources to make themselves look a certain way. But celebrities tell people they got their body from just working out, and this makes the character I play feel bad about herself even more. In the next scene I plan to film it at my homecoming dance. While everyone is looking there best I want the character I play to look sad amongst the happy faces. For the other scenes I do not have a current plan as to where I want to film them but I plan to find one by the end of this week. For my costumes I will be wearing simple clothes for scene 6 since it will just be filmed at my home. For the other scenes I plan to look a bit more presentable since 2 of them will be in public. Besides future plans, I will finish scene 6 tomorrow today my group and I changed our plans to fit everyone’s current needs.

Production blog: filming scenes 10-13

            Hi blog! We are almost done with filming. We filmed scenes 10-13. Thankfully we are on schedule still. There have been little setbacks that did not stop production all together. So we got to filming more scenes today. In total we had gotten to filming at least 8 scenes of our sequence. This is amazing progress and hopefully we keep it up. The more we filmed together the more we got comfortable. This made production nice and easy because even if we were stressed we all had it in common. I filmed some scenes but I also made an appearance in a scene too. Being behind the camera is easier than being in front of it. Each of us wants to try our hardest to get it right the first time and this keeps us determined. Scheduling is going great and production is too. We have gotten to editing a few scenes. Since we are in time we can make sure our scenes are not too flawed. That all I have written for today! Bye!
