Pitch Blog

Image
Pitch A: A girl goes to hang out with her friend and soon realizes something is wrong.  Pitch B: A girl goes to a hotel party with a lot of people and things start to become suspicious.  Discuss pitch A: This pitch has a more interesting plot. To follow through with this pitch, there would be no money wasted, if any, it would only be $15 minimum. I have a perfect place that is near me and isn't a long drive for the final task to be filmed. My house is also a perfect place for a certain part of the final task to be filmed. Pitch A wouldn't require me to take any difficult measures at all, it would be a smooth process filming for pitch A which is exactly what I'm looking for, nothing too difficult for me. While deciding between pitches, I knew that this pitch would make filming this final task fun.  Discuss pitch B: This pitch comes with too many complications. I don't want to waste money on a hotel room for a very short amount of time. Also, there is barely any hotel

The opening sequence will be mystery. This genre was best suited for me because it is a very interesting genre. There is a lot of choices you can make for this genre and it keeps things open. It keeps the audience interested in what’s going on. The other genres were also interesting ,but mystery keeps me entertained because I can change the storyline to something completely unexpected.

Genre - Comedy  Common camera angles, movement, and shots:   A type of cams used in comedy films are wide shots. They are used to capture the whole scene and incorporate every element including characters, and the environment into the shot. Group Blog for Final Task

I decided that I will be working with my friend Mya Green. Mya is hard working and I know that she won’t let me down because we have been friends for years. We both know that our grades are important and we take our classes very seriously. I knew I wanted to work with Mya because she and I have common goals. We both knew that this final task was important and that we wanted to fully lock in. While Mya is my friend she will not joke around when it’s time to do our work. That is what is truly important in a group project. You must find someone who will, in the end, ensure  that the work gets done. Mya and I are both Media Studies students and we both enjoy the class. The photo above is of Mya and I at our school homecoming. We both went this year and last year. I have known her since 2013 and I think this final task will be easier with her help. I will also be working with my other friend Eileen, she is also very hardworking and I know that she will keep me motivated to do my

Introduction to the Final Task

Hi I’m Amiya and I’m re-introducing myself for my final task. My final task will be an opening sequence to a movie. It is for my Media Studies class. I have been in this class for a few months now so I understand how this project will go and what is expected of me. I still enjoy reading a lot and listening to different kinds of music. Recently I have gotten into watching films and rating them on Letterboxd. I used to do this in 2020 but I stopped because I got lazy. I like to get good grades and I like drinking tea. I love all kinds of tea but recently cardamom chai has been my favorite. I also enjoy traveling and trying different kinds of foods. I plan to travel a lot this summer and I am excited to get out of my home state. I have always wanted to travel to North Italy, I think when it’s my time to retire that would be where I want relax. Music is still very important to me, I listen to about 2000 minutes or more of music every week. My top artists are Nicki Min
