Production blog: Costumes and locations

 

                After finishing up my 6th and 8th scene I decided to look at different locations to film at. I filmed 6 and 8 both at home. The Pretty Hurts music video is filmed in various locations. To show how the emotions the characters is feeling is always there I want to film out of my home. I have a homecoming dance coming up and filing there would boost the music video. In my opinion the excitement of the dance and everything else that will be going on around me will show in the  music video. This is one of the scenes that I am very excited to film. For the costumes everyone else will be dressed nicely and it will look like there was more effort put in. Even thought there was effort put in for every scene that was filmed it will bring me more comfort knowing there is a scene like that in there. This scene will be scene 7, where the character begins to compare herself to everyone that she meets. There are many different ways this scene can be shot and played out. For the other scenes that I won’t be filming I want to focus on editing  those. I have to combine the videos filmed together to make a smooth scene. The very end of the music video will be the end of the story. My character and the other characters will not be playing the same  person. My character will just be another girl feeling insecure about herself but the other characters will be the ones that are mainly in the video. My character  may pop back up in the end to show that she has grown and she has accepted herself as she is. I plan to finish filming my scenes by the very end of this week. The other scenes will be finished 2-4 days before the due date so I can begin editing them all together by November 5th, 2023. The main goal is the finish all of the scenes that my group needs to film by the end of this week and so far I am following the schedule perfectly.
